This was the first Legislative Assembly meeting since Yogi Adityanath's government came into power. He said the act of Samajwadi Party members of throwing paper and plastic balls could have caused injury to the Governor.

The address is a note prepared by the government highlighting its achievements. They were allegedly protesting against the state of law and order in the state.
