Melissa McCarthy Hosts SNL!

It's been a big week for White House press secretary Sean Spicer, between the memes we all enjoyed after learning he hid from the press in the bushes and Melissa McCarthy's imitations of him on New York City's streets. Spicer abruptly makes his way into the briefing room when a reporter suggests that Sanders should take over as press secretary: "That's right, Spicey's back, Sarah's out!"

McCarthy, along with Alec Baldwin, are sort of the breakout starts of this season of SNL with their terrifyingly hysterical impersonations of Spicer and President Donald Trump, respectively. Because he told us so.

"Let me just put this whole Russian thing to bed once and for all, Trump is innocent", McCarthy's press secretary said.

One reporter then asked Spicer that if Trump is such a good friend, why is everyone saying that Trump is about to replace Spicer with Sanders?

As early as Friday, New Yorkers saw McCarthy in Spicer attire driving a lectern in New York, a clear hint that Spicer would return to the show.

McCarthy's Spicer sketch involves the aforementioned trip through NYC traffic.

Saturday's episode opened with a bang, beginning with a parody of a President Trump's NBC News interview with Lester Holt Thursday. It's plenty of Sean "Rage" Spicer getting flustered and furious at the press, eventually taking off (on his motorized podium) to confront Trump himself about some fibs Spicer may have had to tell for the President.

"No, no, no, I am nothing like Nixon".

Instead, he gets the "Godfather II" Fredo kiss, i.e. the kiss of death, despite Spicer's protestations that "I'm married!" "Two scoops", Baldwin's Trump said, holding two fingers up on each hand in the air, reminiscent of Nixon's iconic pose.
