"Dropped by the X-Mansion", reads Reynolds note (in Deadpool character-speak) accompanying the set photo.

The teaser picture was shared by the actor on Twitter and Instagram saw him pose against the iconic X-Men Mansion (Hatley Castle). This is our first look at Reynolds on set for Deadpool 2, and in true Deadpool fashion, Reynolds captioned the post with a nonsensical sentence about searching for Beast's "lawn bombs".

Ryan Reynolds leads a cast of newcomers that includes Zazie Beetz (Atlanta) as Domino, a luck-manipulating mutant, and Josh Brolin as Cable, the time-traveling son of the X-Men's Cyclops. Within the canon of the movie series, the mansion was originally built by Professor X's father for a much different reason; anxious by the threat of nuclear war, he built the house with a massive bunker underneath. When people talk about the lack of continuity in the X-Men film franchise, nearly no one ever brings up that the X-Mansion has been altered somewhat in just about every single movie in the franchise.
