It's been a big Father's Day for Jay Z.

His 13th record 4:44 - his first since Magna Carta Holy Grail in 2013 - will be released to Tidal subscribers and customers of USA telecoms company Sprint on June 30. The announcement also revealed that Hov's 13th studio album will be available exclusively from TIDAL and Sprint at 12:01am ET on Friday, June 30.

Tidal is sweetening the deal by offering six months of Tidal HiFi free for new and existing Sprint users.

In a press release, Sprint President Marcelo Claure called Jay Z a "global icon" in announcing the album first-look offer to Sprint customers.

A snippet of "Adnis" can be heard playing over a new clip from the 4:44 film. But it won't exactly be a total Sprint exclusive like the company is making it seem... Amount based on early termination fee charged or remaining phone balance. Now, the veteran rapper has formally unveiled his hinted-at new album 4:44, which will be out before the end of the month.

This led people to believe that maybe the project wouldn't be an album after all, but may in fact be a movie. The streaming service has also been sharing videos on YouTube featuring actors Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong'o and Danny Glover for the past few weeks, hinting that the album may have an extensive visual component.
