Disney Announces New Esports Programming on Disney XD

The annual three-day fighting game tournament is the largest of its kind in the world, and Street Fighter V is the main event this year while Super Smash Bros. has a long history and is a beloved game in the fighting game community. Earlier yesterday, it was announced that the finals will be airing on Disney XD at 6PM ET/3PM PT on Sunday, July 16th. The block will officially be kicking off on Saturday, July 15th, and will air on Disney XD from 9pm to 3am.

It's a bit to navigate through but there will be plenty of fighting games to watch this weekend!

The top Super Smash Bros. for Wii U players won't just be playing for a trophy this weekend-they will also be playing for a spot on television.
