Chelsea are on the lookout for a new striker after Antonio Conte told Diego Costa he was surplus to requirements.

The news on Chelsea needing a striker is not new after the club lost out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

But with new arrivals already settling into life at Stamford Bridge, where could Aguero fit into the team?

The prolific forward scored 30 goals in all competitions last season despite his playing time restrictions from January onwards, and so the 29-year-old evidently has more than enough to make City regret such a decision.

"Having Sergio Aguero as part of the squad is an absolute must". Aguero's name has come out of the blue this weekend, as most reports had linked Chelsea to Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata.

The Argentine saw Citizens boss Pep Guardiola prefer Gabriel Jesus over him at points last season and there has been speculation over his future at Manchester City.
