Mobile wallet Mobikwik has announced its association with Samsung Pay, through which the wallet is integrated with Samsung Pay Mini to enable one-tap payments at merchants using Mobikwik. Because of this, in addition to enabling consumers to pay with PayPal inside of their Samsung Pay wallets, we're also able to allow merchants to accept Samsung Pay.

Initially, access to PayPal payments will be limited to Samsung Pay users in the USA, but it will be extended to other markets shortly.

Customers will be able to use their Samsung Pay to access and use their PayPal wallet, letting them make a payment in millions of stores.

The move will allow Samsung's mobile payment platform Samsung Pay to be linked to PayPal accounts, which paves the way for Samsung to expand its consumer base, according to Samsung.

PayPal has made a series of deals over the past year aimed at giving its mobile wallet more exposure for direct checkout.

Neither PayPal nor Samsung has indicated exactly when support will be added, with "coming soon" being the only hint at a timescale. Plug in your account, and you can pay with PayPal anywhere Samsung Pay is accepted.
