Szczesny had just a year left to run on his contract at Arsenal and the move ensures the Gunners will earn a fee for the 27-year-old, rather than risk losing him for nothing in 12 months.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny arrives in Italy to finalise a reported £13m move to Juventus.

The Polish worldwide has spent the past two seasons on loan at AS Roma, but the Guardian are reporting on Monday that a £10m deal to bring him to Juventus is close to being fully agreed.

Capped 28 times by Poland, he is expected to act as backup at Juventus for Italy's number one goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.

Malala wants state of emergency on education in Nigeria
The young female activist survived gunshots on her head by the Taliban for campaigning for girl-child education in Pakistan. On a previous visit to Nigeria in July 2014, she urged the then-president Goodluck Jonathan to meet the girls´ parents.

Wojciech Szczesny has not found the need to return to the Premier League, where he initially made his name, having then found it hard to hold down the number one spot at Arsenal.

Though Szczesny was highly regarded by Arsene Wenger he had struggled to convince some at the Emirates who doubted his attitude after an incident in January 2015 when he was fined £20,000 for smoking in the changing room showers after a defeat to Southampton.

Arsenal's second choice keeper David Ospina could also move away from the club to Fenerbahce for regular football and now with both the top keepers leaving the club, the Gunners could now be short on secondary options between the sticks to Petr Cech the next season.
