The celebrations at the festival aren't over just yet and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will continue to run until the 22nd August. Films like Dangal, Trapped, A Death in the Gunj are nominated in best film category while actors like Amitabh Bachchan for Pink and Rajkumar Rao for Trapped are also nominated. The movie shared the award with "Dangal.' One of the producers of 'Baahubali-2", Shobu Yarlagadda received the award on behalf of the film's crew. The Aamir Khan starrer, not only won hearts in India but also topped the box office in China.

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become the first Indian woman to hoist the National Flag at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), an annual Indian film festival based in Melbourne, Australia.
