Android O would be the last major patch for the OnePlus 3/3T

The concerned users had a valid reason to worry about updates as OnePlus doesn't really have a very impressive track record with software support in the past. With the company releasing the OnePlus 5 recently, it has led many to wonder how software will be supported on the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T going forward.

So today the Chinese company's Head of Product, Oliver Z., has made a decision to answer a few questions on the matter.

So, will they? OnePlus has said "yes" before, but this time, it has confirmed that it will be that last Android version upgrade for the pair.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. (DAL) Position Boosted by Patten Group Inc
It fall, as 68 investors sold Delta Air Lines , Inc. shares while 333 reduced holdings. (NYSE:DAL) opened at 49.04 on Friday. FNY Managed Accounts LLC acquired a new position in shares of Delta Air Lines during the first quarter worth about $100,000.

As for the foreseeable future, OxygenOS on the OnePlus 3/3T will be updated to version 4.5 in the next month or two, though a security patch will arrive "soon".

Considering the OnePlus 3 was released in June of a year ago, this is pretty weak.

Therefore, it's safe to assume that the new firmware will hit the OnePlus 3 and 3T before the year end. The Open Beta Program will move on to the OnePlus 5 once the OnePlus 3 and 3T receive the Android O update. Otherwise, you'll have to wait a while for each official update to come in as the OnePlus 5 has gotten development priority. The company has managed to improve its standing via the regular updates and the BETA programmes that have constantly brought new features and improved the pain points of the device. Since many customers who purchased the OnePlus 3, 3T and 5 are wondering if they will be treated the same way OnePlus 2 and X owners were treated, the Chinese company has made a decision to come forward with an official statement and reveal its plans regarding the software roadmap.
