Man Utd in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over new deal

Ibrahimovic has continued his rehabilitation at United's training ground and has even stuck around to help out some of the younger Red Devils players during preseason, according to midfielder Paul Pogba.

Jose Mourinho admits Manchester United could still sign one more player, but he will not be "crying" if they do not.

'Obviously [we wanted] a player for another position playing from the sides, but we have players and if you can not strengthen the team in these areas, we have people that we trust and we go for it'.

He suffered ligament damage in his knee in a Europa League match against Anderlecht in April this year and was ruled out for the remainder of the season and at least the first half of the new campaign.

And following his latest post on Instagram, in which the 35-year-old former PSG striker shared four videos of his workout regime, it's easy to see why Jose Mourinho is so keen to keep Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford for a while longer.

United have spent around £150million adding Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof to a star-studded squad.

Today he said woe betide anyone who militarily challenges the United States, and that is his portfolio, that is his mandate. Commenting on the threats, Zakaria said on Thursday, "It's stunning what President Trump has been doing".

"I am really happy to start the Premier League this weekend because our pre-season was very complete in a way where we start playing against Major League Soccer teams and we end it playing against the best teams in Europe", he said. If the remaining 25 per cent doesn't arrive, I will not moan.

"Between the players we have lost and the players we have got, I think we are in a similar situation but with more experience of working together and a much better pre-season".

Goalkeeper: Despite fresh speculation linking him with a return to Spain this summer David De Gea looks set to stay at United and continue as their No.1 this season with Sergio Romero once again his back-up.

"We always had that so my teams always had the goalscorer, we always had the guy that scores more goals, but then we had the winger that scored 15 goals, we had the midfield player who scored 10 goals, we had the central defender that scored five goals".

Mourinho insists he is in a far better position to deliver the title this season because he and his players understand each other better while winning the Europa League will give his squad greater confidence.

The story also claims that Mourinho has asked Manchester United chief Ed Woodward to fund the deal after "background checks" were made.
