Dulquer's Bollywood debut will not be a romantic love story

While he played the quintessential chocolate boy in OK Kanmani, the original version of the Aditya Roy Kapur, Shraddha Kapoor's romantic drama Ok Jaanu, Dulquer Salmaan is now gearing up for Bollywood.

Stars Dulquer Salmaan and Dino Morea also shared the teaser for the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film on their handles.

Instead it has all been about the pantomime villain ahead of the pair, 35-year-old Justin Gatlin , a man with a drug-stained past. Bolt, the 30-year-old eight-time Olympic champion, will retire from track and field after the World Championships.

If the latest reports are to believed, the Malayalam sensation is all set to make his Bollywood debut in a film, alongside none other than Irrfan Khan and internet sensation Mithila Palkar. Mithila is best-known for featuring in web series' like Girl In The City and Little Things. Besides the duo, it will star Irrfan Khan, although the character details of all of them are now kept under wraps. Earlier Abhishek Bachchan was considered for Dulquer's role, but he had to bow out since the dates clashed with the ones he committed for JP Dutta's war drama Paltan.

The film is said to be a light-hearted comedy and will see both Irfan and Dulquer as friends on a road trip. The movie will go on the floors in September. Let's hope that the son has better luck. On the otherside, Dulquer is eagerly waiting for the release of Malayalam-Tamil film Solo, directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Then there are also Parava, directed by Soubin Shahir and a movie with Anjali Menon.
