Tesla CEO Elon Musk Thinks Artificial Intelligence Is Scarier North Korea Nukes

Tesla CEO Elon Musk issued another warning regarding artificial intelligence (AI) Friday, saying it's more unsafe than North Korea.

Speaking on Twitter, the entrepreneur said: "If you're not concerned about AI safety, you should be". He's sounding the bells once again, saying that he believes AI to be a bigger threat to the world than North Korea. "The risk is much greater than North Korea", wrote the billionaire.

He accompanied these posts on Twitter with a poster of a anxious woman saying, "In the end, the machines will win".

From scanning the comments on the tweets, it seems that most people agree with Musk's assessment - to varying degrees of snark.

Yet the Nationals did not see an October inadequacy when they picked him to take them to the next level. Should Strickland and Harper face off this weekend, it's unlikely that any fireworks would take place.

He's all for the "safe" development of AI, though, as he backs OpenAI which is a nonprofit that promotes such development.

Musk also warned that artificial intelligence should be regulated the same way anything that could pose a danger to the public is. Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking have also issued warnings regarding AI.
