Nintendo has announced new free content that will soon be added to Nintendo Switch exclusive, Splatoon 2.

Before that, Nintendo will be rolling out a new Salmon Run stage called Lost Outpost.

Manta Maria joins the lineup in Turf War and Ranked Battle stages this weekend, and a new Lost Outpost is coming to the co-op mode Salmon Run today following the release of a new game update. This special allows players to launch up to three large bubbles, which will explode when shot with your team's ink. The Forge Splattershot Pro will be the first weapon to receive the Bubble Blower special weapon on September 2nd. The bubbles also serve a defensive goal, as they can protect you from enemy fire.

While Splatoon 2 has been receiving new weapons with some regularity it has been lacked in the new maps department.

Splatoon 2 is getting more free stuff starting this week, says Nintendo.
