President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort-dubbed his "winter White House"-will be evacuated Friday morning as Hurricane Irma approaches Florida".

The Palm Beach County evacuations cover low-lying areas along Lake Okeechobee, as well as a long swath of neighbourhoods along the Intracoastal Waterway and the barrier islands off Florida's east coast. Officials have ordered everyone to leave by 5 p.m. Irma wreckage, in or around it, will likely devalue the property, which already cut its asking price by 40 percent this summer.

This Twitter collection of leftist tweets, cheering Hurricane Irma for harming Florida's supposedly Trump-supporting residents really shows the disgusting malice that still exists in the by-any-means-necessary crowd.

Public Safety Director Kirk Blouin told the Palm Beach Daily he's not aware of any extra storm protection underway at Mar-a-Lago, and a local reporter who drove by the property told CNN she saw no exterior preparations.

Mandatory evacuation for the entire town remains in effect. It comes just days before Hurricane Irma is set to hit Florida after killing several people in the Caribbean. Please relocate west of US-1 until this storm passes if you do not plan to depart the county/state.

Brading said the Air Force is also considering the evacuation of its aircraft, personnel and their families. The Fort Sumter National Monument marks the spot where the first shots were fired in the Civil War in 1861.

"Our three private properties in Florida", the statement continues, "The Mar-a-Lago Club, Trump International Golf Club, Palm Beach and Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter have all been closed".

The President also owns three golf courses in the counties that have been forced to evacuate and an 11-bedroom mansion in St. Martin, which experienced widespread devastation when Irma hit the island earlier this week.

Mar-A-Lago is located in an area that has been placed under storm surge warning.

Several other Trump Organization properties could also be tested by a diminished Irma if it turns north once it reaches Florida, as several computer models predict. Yet it's better to remember that we live in a world in which Puerto Rico, although spared the worst of Irma, only had $15 million in pre-allocated emergency funds; as Katrina victims pleaded for FEMA trailers a decade ago, Trump was able to line his pockets with $2 million more than that by telling falsehoods about storm damage.
