"Larry David doesn't do it for him. he does it for you!"

'I enjoy the mind of Larry David, ' he tells the comedian - who promptly responds: 'Any time you want to get rid of me as a patient, just say "I've had enough"'.

It's been six years since Larry David's cult comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm was last onscreens - but the man himself is back, and it looks as if he's as misanthropic as ever.

So what's on tap this year?

The clip features Larry David doing typical Larry David things, such as telling a grieving woman at a funeral to "shut up" and shoving an overzealous perfume saleswoman.

Woman Gives Birth Alone During Hurricane Irma
Doctors were forced to talk a Florida woman through delivering her baby at home while Hurricane Irma's outer bands lashed Miami . A curfew from 7 p.m.to 7 a.m.is expected to be in place for days in Miami-Dade.

The trailer can be best summarized by the exchange between fan-favorite Richard Lewis, who returns to Curb as Larry's #1 hater: "You're devoid of anything that's remotely caring or empathetic", he tells Larry.

One other thing that clearly hasn't changed about the show is its usually rogues gallery of celebrities on the ready for guest appearances.

-Larry chides his assistant, played by Carrie Brownstein, for skipping work due to constipation. Naturally, series regulars like Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, and J.B. Smoove are also back, ditto Bob Einstein as the incomparably voiced Marty Funkhauser. Let us know in the comments section below.

The ninth season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" - in which, again, nothing has changed whatsoever - will premiere on October 1, 2017.
