Jon Jones' B sample comes back positive

Jon Jones' "B" sample has also come back positive for a banned substance.

That was all put to rest on Tuesday when his B sample came back and basically confirmed he had failed yet another drug test, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

"Mr. Jones "B" sample has confirmed the "A" sample findings," a USADA spokesperson said in a statement.

The UFC has not announced a punishment for Jones as they await all the details of the positive test.

Judge Who Wore MAGA Hat Gets Suspended
Zabel said he was only trying to "lighten things up" when he wore the campaign hat into a Hamilton, Ontario courtroom. He then took it off and placed it on the dais until the break, when he took it back to his office, the document says.

The spokesperson also said due process should occur before drawing any conclusions about the matter.

The result was likely expected by Jones and his team following the positive test from the "A" sample but now the reigning light heavyweight champion will begin his adjudication process. He will likely go to arbitration with the USADA, which the site reports could take between three to six months. He claimed the positive tests were a result of a contaminated sexual enhancement pill. He was eventually cleared of intentionally taking a prohibited substance, but suspended a year regardless for carelessly ingesting not one but two substances on the banned list - clomiphene and letrozole.

This is the second failed drug test of Jones' career. If this four-year suspension holds up, it could signal the end of one of the greatest "what if" stories in MMA history. The samples were taken after the weigh-in for Jones' victorious July 29 fight against champion Daniel Cormier for the UFC light heavyweight title in Anaheim, Calif.
