Rishi Kapoor Lashes Out at Rahul Gandhi Over 'Dynasty' Remark

Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his outspokenness on social media, seems to have taken particular offence to Rahul Gandhi's reference to Bollywood while speaking on "dynasty politics".

Rahul was at the University of California, Berkeley to deliver the speech. He hasn't achieved anything creditworthy so far but he still is being projected as the PM candidate of the oldest and the biggest political party of this nation.

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor posted a series of tempered tweets reacting to Rahul Gandhi's speech in the U.S. where the Congress vice-president made a reference to Bollywood while elaborating on dynasty politics. He said that even though five generations of the family had worked in Bollywood, Kapoor family members were still chosen by the public on basis of merit.

To Rahul Gandhi's statement that dynastic succession is the way "most India runs", Shah said that BJP has removed dynastic politics from India as it believes in the politics of performance. Even Abhishek Bachchan is a dynast. In politics, and his own family, both Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi were remarkably successful dynasts and, in films, so many generations of the Kapoors ending with Kareena and now Ranbir have been enormously successful dynasts.

Danica Patrick won't remain with Stewart Haas Racing in 2018
Earlier this season she told NASCAR .com: "I said this a year ago , it's not any fun to run 20th or 25th". Hours after the announcement , RPM announced Aric Almirola also will not return to the organization.

Following his comments, Rishi Kapoor, one of the most controversial and vocal Bollywood celebrities, went on a rant against Gandhi on Twitter by highlighting the contribution of the Kapoor in India cinema and how their four generations survived in the industry, purely on merit, for 90 years. Akhilesh Yadav is a dynast. Prithviraj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor.

- Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) September 12, 2017So don't bullshit people on "Dynasty" You have to earn people's respect and love through hard work not zabardasti and gundagardi.

Kapoor shot back, "I am absolutely sure you can Manish".

A failed dynast today chose to speak about his failed political journey in the U.S.... the country (India) is not listening so he is speaking somewhere else.
