Jamie Lee Curtis to Return for 2018 'Halloween' Reboot

Over the course of the film series, Curtis did return for Halloween II, when we find out that she is actually Michael's long-lost sister, hence his fixation on her. So the film will be something of a sequel-reboot, which sounds like the kind of thing Hollywood would love. Same issues. 40 years later. That would require a lot more narrative acrobatics, as Halloween Resurrection brought a definitive end to the Laurie Strode character, when she died in a final confrontation with Michael Myers on the roof of a mental institution. John Carpenter, director of the original, will executive produce with an eye to compose the score. The remake with Jamie Lee Curtis will hit theaters on the 19th of October, 2018.

Laurie Strode returns to face the horror. Her first appearance was in the classic 1978 original when the world was introduced to the mask-wearing, mental patient mass-murder, Michael Myers. And this post from Curtis all but confirms she will be reprising her role in the new movie.

"Look at where the Halloween franchise has gone".

Splashinians, maybe I'm a little slow, but did anyone else know that another Halloween was being made? Blumhouse also released a photo featuring Curtis with her on-screen, serial killer brother lurking in the background, which you can check out for yourself below.
