The Galaxy J2 2017 Edition isn't that different from its predecessor in terms of features. The Galaxy J2 comes with an Ultra Data Saving mode. The device has been listed on the official website of the brand sans the price.

Even though we're still months out from the reveal of the Galaxy S9, there have already been plenty of rumors about the device. Dubbed Galaxy J2 2017 Edition, the device is powered by an SoC with quad-core, 1.3GHz processor, and sports a 4.7-inch HD display. Additionally, the smartphone comes with features like Smart Manager for automatic memory clean up and management.

The handset comes with a 5.8-inch display sporting a resolution of 2960 by 1440 pixels resolution, a Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64Gb of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot. There is also the Ultra Data Saving mode which is claimed to help users save up to 50 percent data. For selfies and video calling, the Galaxy J2 (2017) gets a 2- megapixel shooter on the front.

Reactions mixed to Boys Scouts accepting girls
This may have been news to the Girl Scouts, whose Brownie and Junior programs cater to girls who are about the age of Cub Scouts. Boys Scouts will be committed to the same, but now will do so as an organization with what Surbaugh calls "a hybrid model".

As for optics, the device is equipped with a 5MP rear autofocus camera with flash, as well as a 2MP front camera. Galaxy J2 2017 Edition is a dual-SIM smartphone and it supports USB OTG (on-the-go). Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) comes in two colour variants - Metallic Gold and Absolute Black.

Measuring 136.5 x 69.0 x 8.4mm, the smartphone weighs 130 grams. According to a Mumbai-based offline retailer Mahesh Telecom, the handset comes at a price of Rs 7,390, though there's no official confirmation.
