Three defeats in three with nine goals conceded and a goal scored - Indian colts' inexperience and lack of exposure were evident in their maiden U-17 World Cup campaign.

The Black Starlets thrashed the host nation by 4:0 at the New Dheli National Sports Stadium on Thursday, October 12 in the ongoing Federation Internationale de Football Association U-17 World Cup.

On the occasion of 6th October, India became the latest member nation to play in a FIFA World Cup, albeit the U17 event.
