After 5GB, you will still have unlimited data at Simple Global speeds (up to 128kbps or 256kbps if you have ONE Plus). For instance, if a user has used 2 GB of LTE data in Canada or Mexico during February, he will have 3G remaining.

On November 12, T-Mobile will be adjusting the initial Mobile without Borders offer so that customers will only have access to 5GB of LTE data when traveling overseas in Mexico or Canada. It was nearly like traveling out of state and not overseas.

T-Mobile offered Mobile Without Borders Un-carrier plan which introduced free calling texting and LTE plans for travelers in Mexico, Canada, and US. This was intended to provide the same LTE data limits when roaming in North America as when using LTE in the USA, and when combined with T-Mobile's subsequent Unlimited plan, this meant unlimited LTE data when traveling in Canada and Mexico. Now, wherever you call, wherever you travel in Mexico & Canada, your phone just works- like at home.

T-Mobile had been offering global roaming data to most of its customers for free, in an effort to attract customers from other networks since 2015 under the plan, "Mobile Without Borders". For those with old capped plans of 5GB or less, there's no change to the limit.

The Upcoming Razer Smartphone Will Be Announced On November 1st 2017
Back in January 2017, the company had acquired Nextbit , which is mainly known for its cloud storage based Robin smartphone . It's likely the company killed off support for the Robin to be able to concentrate on its own device.

A spotlight on how Canadians were using T-Mobile cellular plans was highlighted earlier this year by Vice Money, which showed how for $50 Dollars, one could get a plan with unlimited data, text and calls in Canada, the US and Mexico.

T-Mobile has made this change which will only affect one percent of the people traveling to Mexico and Canada. In order to prevent usage beyond the intent of the product, we implemented a limit on the amount of monthly 4G LTE data. The company will also send you an alert when you've used up 80 percent and 100 percent of your LTE data.
