Zlatan could be back this year, says Mourinho

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be back from injury before the end of the year, according to Jose Mourinho.

Despite still being in the early part of his rehabilitation, United opted to hand Ibrahimovic a new deal in August and the iconic Swede is now closing in on his return, with reports earlier this week claiming he had taken part in a training session alongside his teammates for the first time in five months.

The veteran striker had a huge impact on Manchester United last season before succumbing to a serious knee injury in April, but he rejoined the club in the summer on a new one-year contract. Do I feel he will be back in 2017?

"He did it (recovery) very well, I talked to Zlatan while at the gym a while ago, I think he hopes to get back in December or January", Cole told FourFourTwo.

Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick all remain sidelined, while Mourinho appears no closer to discovering when Paul Pogba is likely to recover from a long-term hamstring issue. "Yes I do. But it is just a feeling".

Mourinho also confirmed that defender Luke Shaw was fit, but was "still working" to get back into his first team plans.

Destiny 2 Trials of the Nine Event Delayed for Two Weeks
If you thought we'd nearly made it through the week without some form of Destiny 2 downtime, then sadly you were mistaken. They will let them know with an in-game message when they fail with information on what is at stake each week.

Mourinho will have Marcus Rashford available to face Huddersfield after the 19-year-old limped off against Benfica with a knee injury.

"Paul Pogba is not here, I don't know when he comes back, when he is available, I don't know about it".

"I don't want to speak about signings yet, or market or January, we are in October, we have November, December and half of October to play, so why should I speak about the market".

On United's general injury situation, he said: "The injury process normally is a process of some guys get injured, some guys recover from injury, unless we lose completely the balance, this happens to nearly every team".

"Nobody is back from injury but what we have is good".
