Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Expansion Pass, Day One Japanese Voice Pack Announced

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 day-one updates, expansion pass, and a Japanese audio option were announced during today's Nintendo Direct devoted to the game. These include various items that will help you on your journey, an expanded main quest line, a new weapon, a new challenge battle mode, and a brand-new story and adventure.

There are also a number of new revelations, including plans for an expansion pass (i.e. season pass) that will cost £26.99.

The Direct presentation had one particularly surprising revelation: If you own The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you'll be able to access a side-quest wherein Link acquires an outfit inspired by the hero of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Rex.

National Football League suspends Tampa Bay's Mike Evans for 'cheap shot' on Saints player
Lattimore, who was the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month, said he was glad Evans was not tossed so he could guard him some more. The Bucs, who will also be without Winston, host the New York Jets on Monday.

Breath of the Wild players on Switch and Wii U will be handed free DLC this week on November 9.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 slices into the Nintendo Switch on December 1. The main protagonist, Rex, is a Driver and Pyra is a Blade. Selecting different Blades will provide the player with different possible strategies during the real-time combat. If players manage to defeat certain Unique Beasts, a tombstone will be left behind to commemorate the creature and allow players to relive those battles for additional rewards. Hopefully, as a December release, it can make waves late in the year and give Switch owners a new big RPG to sink their teeth into. Game Informer has just published a huge interview with executive director Tetsuya Takahashi and have asked them that very question. The same day, the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition Nintendo Switch Pro Controller will launch at a suggested retail price of $74.99.

Players can preorder all the DLC now by buying a $30 expansion pass.
