OnePlus 5T won't have wireless charging, sales will starts from Nov

Pete Lau, the company's CEO, tweeted about the new phone and the tweet hints about the higher price of OnePlus 5T.

Now, the OnePlus 5T promises to be bigger and better than the OnePlus 5 and a recent tweet from the company's CEO Pete Lau stresses the fact that the OnePlus 5T is set to be more expensive than the OnePlus 5. No, not yet. The OnePlus team has simply clarified that it won't have wireless charging yet as Dash Charge is still the best choice for them. Moreover, he mentioned that users can not pick up their phone to play a game or make a call during wireless charging so the current standard of wireless charging "brings more limitations than freedom". But it seems that OnePlus will "consider adopting the wireless charging technology when the time is right". Wireless charging is the standard way that all the tech and smartphone giants such as Samsung, Apple, HTC, and LG have implemented. Also, he pointed out that wireless charging doesn't enable users to pick their devices up to play a game or take a photo.

Repealing Obamacare individual mandate would boost uninsured by 4 million, CBO finds
Health insurance premiums was predicted to rise by about 10 percent in most years, over the next decade in the individual market . Some of those people would not want to buy insurance, but others couldn't afford it.

The main reason Lau's team decided against wireless charging, however, is because of power consumption. Now that the OnePlus 5T is less than a week away from its launch and few of its features have already been revealed, its looks safe to conclude that the OnePlus 5T will be expensive than its predecessor, the OnePlus 5. All you need is the Dash Charge cable and adaptor to consistently power your device at superior rate. As pointed out by XDA, having wireless charging could benefit a lot of users by allowing them to have short but frequent intermittent charging all throughout the day. But, that's not the case with dash charger - you can simply plug-in and use you phone for anything and at anytime. It also stays cool so you won't have to worry about overheating even if you are using the phone while charging. I've had phones that have had it and seldom used it. Hence, the Shenzhen based Chinese smartphone manufacturer has made it crystal clear that it will stick with Dash charge.

As usual, OnePlus is teasing and confirming on the features that will be arriving on the OnePlus 5T before its official announcement.
