Is your interest piqued? As most of you are aware, Netflix now costs anywhere between $7.99 and $13.99 a month to stream an array of studio content including the service's original series and films.

The rumored show won't be the first Star Wars series to arrive on television, of course, but will be the first live action version of the franchise to hit the small screen.

For the quarter ended September 30, Disney reported earnings of $1.07 a share, excluding some items, missing the $1.14 average of analysts' estimates.

Pricing hasn't been announced, and while Iger said that the Disney streaming service will be priced less than a Netflix subscription, he didn't say anything specifically about the pricing strategy for ESPN Plus.
