Bentley reveals latest Continental GT3 race vehicle

The new GT3, based on the new Continental GT, features far more aggressive bodywork than the GT, with a deep front spoiler, wide wheel arches, aerodynamic fins and a huge rear wing.

Bentley Motorsport is now working with the M-Sport technical team to develop the new Continental GT3, which is now in the middle of a rigorous six-month testing period in Europe to prepare it for 24-hour endurance races. The second-generation Continental GT3 comes off the back of four successful years with the first-gen vehicle, and will continue the brand's competitive efforts in endurance racing.

This is the second generation Continental GT3 racecar that finds its spot in the lineage along with the 4 1/2 liter, Speed Six, and Speed 8 Le Mans winners that came before it.

Students stage campus walkout, show support for clean DACA bill
Most people became quiet and raised their fists in the air, but a handful of protesters continued their refrain. On Nov. 9, around 60 NYU students gathered to protest President Donald Trump's decision to end DACA.

The 2018 Continental GT3 racing auto has already undergone six months of testing ahead of the 2018 campaign, which includes the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup where Bentley Motorsport reign as the defending teams champions. Since its debut in 2013, the original GT3 has secured 45 wins and 120 podium finishes, and the second-generation wants to raise that bar even higher. The new auto leaves no area or system untouched in the search for even better performance, and the early tests are promising. For better performance, Bentley redesigned the dry sump system and intake and exhaust systems.

"The new Continental GT road auto has proved to be a great starting point for the development of a new racer, and the engineering development work is true to Bentley's impeccable standards".

Bentley Team M-Sport has also confirmed its 2018 race plans with two new Continental GT3s set to take on the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and Intercontinental GT Challenge. Order books for privateer teams will open in June.
