In an interview with Axios co-founder Mike Allen on Wednesday, former Vice President Joe Biden ripped the "phony nationalism" he said is "undermining the social fabric" of the nation. "And that's why I can say with confidence there has never been a man or a woman-not me, not Bill, nobody-more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America".

"Well, he is, but he is a great and gifted writer and he said, "Look Joe" - I had written another book before that for a while was on the best seller list 20 some years ago and I had forgotten how much time I had put in to write the book".

"I want to think of him as this lovely kid in the back of the book or this strong major in the United States Army or the guy introducing me at the National Convention".

"I don't regret the decision I made because it was the right decision for my family".

Hasbro makes takeover offer for Mattel
The terms of any possible deal "couldn't be learned", the WSJ said, and it is not clear if the approach will move forward. Despite the financial concerns, Mattel's ownership of valuable brands makes the toymaker ripe for takeover by Hasbro.

Promise Me, Dad is set for release on Tuesday. "I wanted to be that person who was there and loyal to people who were loyal to him". Biden discussed why he regrets not being president and also why he didn't run in 2016. They play to their strengths and try to shore up their weaknesses.
