Curry was competing until the final buzzer, though, and it led to him suffering a bum wheel.

X-rays were negative, but Curry will undergo further testing. "It's more on the - I won't just bounce back [Tuesday] morning waking up like, 'all right, I should be whatever, ' just because of swelling", Curry said after the game, as reported by ESPN.

Curry rolled his surgically-repaired right ankle with less than a minute left in regulation, attempting a steal, but cutting into E'Twaun Moore's path and stepping on his shoe, which caused the injury.

Curry has been averaging a team-high 26.3 points per game for the Warriors (19-6) this season.

He previously has said it would be humiliating for Russian Federation to compete without its national symbols. They've taken away 11 of Russia's 33 medals.

Nevertheless, it is never good to see a superstar go down like this. After the game, he exited the locker room using crutches, reportedly on his way to get X-rays.

"That I had to call my dad and tell him I can't play golf tomorrow in Charlotte.Nah, just playing", Curry joked.

"So obviously it hurt, but wanted to kind of get back here, get ice on it and get the rehab process started as soon as possible".

The Warriors' next game is in Curry's hometown of Charlotte on Wednesday. This looks like the loss, even without Curry playing.
