Instagram Introduces Two New Features - Stories Archive and Stories Highlights

Instagram introduced two new features for its oh-so-popular photo sharing app this week - Stories Highlights and Stories Archive.

From there you will be able to view, share, or add to a highlight right from your archive. In this space, you can highlight Stories that you'd like others to have easy access to.

Story Highlights lets you show all the sides of your personality, and you can make highlights out of anything you've shared to your story in the past.

Stories Archive and Stories Highlights are two new features that are available on Instagram. Users can create as many highlights as they want to. Update your Instagram to the latest version so you can enjoy these new features.

Student Victims Of Shooting Near Graham, Washington High School Expected To Survive
This is a scary situation and we are proud of how our staff, students and families have been and are still reacting to it. Multiple officers responded from multiple agencies, Troyer said, and no one other than the two students were hurt.

Instagram Stories Archive automatically saves Stories that expire, to user's archive. The "Stories Archive" page is where you'll see all your past stories.

The Instagram Archive feature works automatically. You just have to tap and hold the story highlight to edit or remove it. You can now bundle your favorite stories together to create individual highlights. They will appear above the photo grid as a horizontal scroll bar. Users can only see their own archived stories, and can choose to turn off auto-archiving at any time in profile settings. These new features are launching today as part of Instagram 25 on iOS and Android, so give them a try once your app has been updated. As the name indicates, the archive would allow the users to save their stories for later viewing even after the twenty-four hours expiry time.

Instagram just made it incredibly simple to keep your Stories beyond their traditional 24-hour expiration date.

If this feature reminds you of last year's Snapchat launch of its "Memories" section, you're not wrong. If you have comments regarding the new update do share them below in comments section. They'll remain visible unless you delete them, and you can remove clips but not reorder them.
