Pizza Hut will now deliver beer and wine

The company will be offering selections of beer and wine for a flat rate of $10.99 (with wine options debuting in January of 2018). For reference, $11 is roughly as much as a cheap six pack costs in New York City. The company will add wine soon, but has yet to decide if it will deliver bottles or glasses.

In the meantime, just remember that you can also order cookies, brownies, mini apple pies, and icing dipped cinnamon sticks along with your pizza - surely that will tide you over until your city is granted access to the golden delivery booze menu, won't it?

This beer delivery move comes after Yum poured $130 million into Pizza Hut in April in order to better compete with rivals Domino's and Papa Johns. The company has more than 16,000 locations, many of which already serve alcohol.

Rose Returns To Cavs For Rehab
The Cavaliers are now on an 11-game winning streak with José Calderón starting at point guard. In seven games this season, Rose has averaged 14.3 points and 1.7 assists per game.

On Tuesday, the pizza chain said it was starting delivery in Phoenix with the hopes of expanding throughout the United States from there, said Mia McWilliams of Zeno Group, a public relations and communications firm, in an email. Customers will be required to show their IDs at the door.

All drivers with beer and wine deliveries on their routes will be at least 21 years old, according to the company. Jack in the Box also made waves a few years ago with the late-night-only "Munchies Menu", a wink-and-nod acknowledgement that people will eat too much fast food after smoking too much weed.
