The Xiaomi Redmi 5 and the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus come in Black, Blue, Pink and Gold and will go on sale in China on December 12. As is the trend these days, the Redmi 5 and 5 Plus get larger 18:9 displays up front, with slim bezels.

The Redmi 5 flaunts a 5.7-inch bezel-less display with an HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
