Referred to as "The Last Jedi AR Stickers", Pixel and Pixel 2 owners can spice things up with a slew of Star Wars cartoonish stormtroopers, AT-AT walkers, R2-D2, BB-8, and even porgs. The AR stickers will interact with other characters in the scene as well.

The AR stickers aren't life-changing of course, but isn't it fantastic that you can now add BB-8, a stormtrooper, or a porg when you're posing for pictures or taking a video?

The camera app on Google's Pixel lineup has just got better with the addition of the much-talked-about AR Stickers. On top of that, you need to make sure that you have installed and updated the ARCore and AR Stickers applications from the Play Store. Originally announced back at the Google's October 2017 event, the AR Stickers create 3D structures, which will appear in Google Camera application. When you update the ARCore framework to the latest version and download the stickers pack (linked at the end of the article), you'll get a new option in the Camera app that says "AR Stickers".

AR Sticker users can also access sticker packs that add Foodmojis and characters from Netflix Inc.'s "Stranger Things" series.

After Apple introduced ARKit to help brands and software developers create AR apps that would work on most iPhones and iPads, Google responded with the rollout of ARCore to give Android devices AR features.

Baby milk maker orders global recall
Lactalis spokesperson Michel Nalet said on BFM Television that the products can be exchanged in pharmacies or supermarkets. The 26 cases of infection were linked to products called Picot SL, Pepti Junior 1, Milumel Bio 1 and Picot Riz.

There are new features on Google Assistant on Pixel too.

At long last, Google has finally launched its first implementation of ARCore on the Pixel 2 handsets in the form of AR stickers.

It will now ask you to rotate your Pixel smartphone to create a surface so that the stickers can be placed in a flawless place. Then, you'll be able to start placing stickers in your surroundings, which is as simple as dragging and dropping them. You can find new updates for both the apps. Another useful feature in Oreo 8.1 for Pixel users: Wi-Fi speed labels show you how fast nearby networks are.

Unfortunately, the image quality when using AR Stickers is visibly decreased and you can't tap to focus, meaning that close-ups are off the table right now. For instance, it will take a user to the Google Maps app, if it detects that an address was copied.
