Unlike many of its Android smartphones that are selling exclusively in China, the Mi A1 is available in a lot more countries.

The Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Xiaomi Mi A1 brings features such as Picture-in-Picture mode, new Notification dots, Background limits, Auto-fill, and Smart text selection. All you have to do is go to the phone's settings and check for updates.

In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch full HD display. Some beta users have previously noticed significantly fast app load times as well with the latest update. It has rear dual-lens camera setup with the combination of 12MP +12MP sensors and 5MP snapper.

With a Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM, the Mi A1 is a fast and responsive phone that can handle multitasking and day-to-day activities easily. It has 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage which is expandable via micoSD upto 2TB. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. Well, just before the year 2017 came to end, Xiaomi started rolling out the Oreo update for Mi A1.
