Expect at least two new BlackBerry smartphones in 2018, says TCL

This is no surprise after the first original BlackBerry-branded TCL devices released in 2017, the BlackBerry KeyOne and BlackBerry Motion, were received well by users craving a return to the BlackBerry smartphone.

"With new BlackBerry smartphones from TCL Communications now available in 50 countries around the world, we have a solid foundation to continue building upon our portfolio in the new year". BlackBerry announced during its recent gathering that it is planning to launch at least two new smartphones this year - one of which could be the second-generation model of the KEYOne, according to recent speculation. As for what those two smartphones will be is anyone's guess at the moment, as BlackBerry hasn't revealed any details whatsoever, but it's highly likely we'll see at least one at Mobile World Congress next month. That fits in well with the Bronze Edition's target markets of Europe, Middle East and Asia, but right now, it seems unlikely that the dual-SIM variant will make its way to the US. With the roll out continuing, in places such as Mexico and South Korea, thanks in part to TCL's key partners, such as AT&T, Sprint, Rogers, Bell, and Telus. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and can be updated to Android 8.0 oreo in near future.

Manhunt for pair charged in girl's death underway
Diaz and Fields are now facing charges of felony murder, second-degree murder, first-degree child abuse and torture, police said. Police are searching for the parents of a 4-year-old Sumpter Township girl who died Monday after being found with severe burns.

Finally, Blackberry Motion is making its way to the United States, as it is going to be made available in the market from January 12.

No price point or release dates have been announced for other regions at the time of this announcement.
