The board made the announcement in an official press release on their official website.

The opener will be on Wednesday, June 27, with the second match to be played two days later at Malahide, the venue for Ireland's inaugural Test match against Pakistan in May. The matches will of course be a huge challenge for the team, but what an opportunity for everyone to showcase their talents in front of a huge audience, both at the games and live on television.

India's last tour of Ireland was in 2007 when they played an ODI at Belfast.

Manchester United haven't made a bid for Lucas Moura
The pursuit of a right winger has been a lengthy one for Manchester United . Lucas Moura has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United.

The Men in Blue will play two T20s in Dublin against Ireland on June 27 and 29.

Indian cricket team will travel to Ireland for a brief two T20 Internationals series as part of their preparation for the grueling tour of England in July. Interestingly, the short T20I series will serve as a warm-up ground for India's much talked about tour of England that commences in July this year. India have played Ireland just once in the T20 format when the two sides met in Nottingham during the 2009 World T20.

The current Indian squad includes the world's third ranked batsman in T20, Virat Kohli, and the games will be the first T20 internationals for Ireland head coach Graham Ford. On all these mentioned occasions, it was the Indian team that emerged victorious. Ireland has also received their Test status previous year.
