Camila Cabello FINALLY Addresses Fifth Harmony's MTV VMAs Shade: It's "Just Petty"

Since her split from Fifth Harmony in December 2016, Camila Cabello has experienced plenty of success, and a recent compliment from Elton John seemed to be one of the major highlights of the "Havana" singer's solo career.

Camila Cabello has "butterflies in her stomach" over the release of her debut solo album.

Elton said this about Camila, "I just think she's going to have an incredible year, cause she's ... just so much fun".

"Havana" also topped the charts in the United Kingdom and Australia and total Spotify streams have surpassed 545 million, while its official music video has exceeded 500 million hits on YouTube and Vevo.

Pop star Camila Cabello has proved her label bosses wrong by turning Havana into a chart smash - because they didn't think the song had hit potential.

To refresh your memory, in the 2017 Fifth Harmony performed at the VMA's. There's a good-natured guilelessness to a lot of "Camila" (and compared with the album Fifth Harmony recently put out, a lack of aggressive sexuality) that kind of makes you believe she's more normal gal than steely careerist. However, after she collaborated with singer Shawn Mendes on his song "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in 2015, things apparently got tense with her fellow bandmates.

Soon after the story, the Toronto Star reported that while Canada is "actively preparing" for a possible withdrawal, officials aren't "convinced" that Trump will abandon the agreement.

Apparently, the group just wasn't a cohesive unit toward the end.

"It became clear that it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in the group at the same time", she told the paper, adding, "if anyone wants to explore their individuality, it's not right for people to tell you no".

Last year, there was a seismic shift in cultural appetite: Rap overtook rock as the most popular music genre, and soldiering pop heavyweights found chinks in their armor as swaggering viral upstarts came for their thrones. "I don't like holding onto the past, especially when it's stuff that, in my opinion, is just petty". "She Loves Control" combining a Latin-tinged reggaeton groove and an irresistible chorus. Cabello began to make moves prior to her departure with the group.

Camila Cabello is seen departing "The Tonight Show" in Midtown on January 10, 2018 in New York City.
