Peterbilt Motors Company solidifies its position as an industry technology leader with its display at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas NV.

The Consumer Electronics Show, the biggest tech show in the world, hit a snag Wednesday when the lights went out in part of the Las Vegas Convention Center, leaving both techie humans and their robots in the dark.

Over the course of the four-day show, televisions, home appliances and autonomous vehicle technology are also expected to be prominent trends.

"CES is the world's gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies". For CES 2018, the show is back with aplomb, officially opening on Tuesday 9 January and continuing until Friday 12 January.

Large swaths of the sprawling Las Vegas Convention Center lost power at about 11:15 a.m. local time, shutting down brightly lit company booths and darkening rooms used by hundreds of journalists covering CES.

It will be held at three different locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, dubbed Tech East, Tech West, and Tech South.
