Paige's WWE In-Ring Career is Over

Paige just recently came back from a neck injury after a long 17 months away from the ring. She was examined by WWE medical personnel and a stretcher was brought to ringside to transport her back to the locker room, however she was able to walk out under her own power, according to PWInsider.

Frightful news for both WWE and Paige, per a new report.

It was believed that she had just suffered a stinger, but after she started losing feeling in her extremities, WWE chose to do more testing which ultimately led to the decision to pull her from in-ring action.

However, since 2016 she's been involved in multiple drug violations that kept her out of action for a long period of time and had a major neck injury that needed surgery. 2017 into 2018 was supposed to be her major comeback to WWE, her redemption.

She had been slated to take part in WWE's first ever women's Royal Rumble match later this month, but has obviously been pulled from the show. People often quip that she was born to wrestle in the womb, and The Rock is even making a film about her family of professional wrestlers. She will be replaced in the match and all signs are that she will relegated to a non-physical role for the company going forward. Paige was teaming with Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville against Sasha Banks, Bayley & Mickie James.

Paige was considered one of WWE's top women's wrestlers since her days from NXT.

The 25-year-old native of England became the youngest Divas champion in WWE history when she defeated AJ Lee in her debut match on the main roster in 2014.

WWE have yet to release an official statement.

Neither Paige nor WWE have addressed the matter publicly as of this update.
