James Franco "In Really Bad Place" Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Franco's first accusers came forward with their allegations against him on social media on the night of the Golden Globes.

On Twitter, Paley alleged that Franco pressured her into performing oral sex on him in a auto while they were in a romantic relationship in 2016.

One of the women, Sarah Tither-Kaplan, appeared in several of Franco's productions. He also denied the allegations through his attorney.

The actor skipped the Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday - where he won the award for Best Actor in "The Disaster Artist".

"There are stories that need to get out, people that need to be heard". The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate.

"Look, in my life I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I have done", he told Colbert.

At the Globes, Franco won for best actor.and wore a Time's Up pin showing his support for the new initiative, which is devoted to addressing sexual harassment in the workplace and promoting gender equality.

The part required her to perform nude, and Tither-Kaplan signed nudity agreements for her scenes.
