The Xbox One's Patch 1.0.0.8 will address and allegedly resolve "all matchmaking functionality issues" in Monster Hunter World. Deploying a few fixes for Capcom's epic monster hunting game, the patch weighs in at 84MB. It's already sold well over five million copies on release and continues to be the talk of most console gamers these days. Undoubtedly, optimizations are more important for Xbox One users, as they are related to the matchmaking system.

We were surprised to learn there aren't many gameplay changes in this week's MHW update, considering how commonly multiplayer games receive balance adjustments in 2018.

If the fixes work as intended, the patch should be good news for players wanting to group up with their friends while on the hunt.
