'Big Brother': Omarosa Show debuts

Just when it looked as if "reality" television couldn't get any more freaky, along comes "Big Brother: Celebrity Edition", premiering at 8 p.m. Wednesday on CBS.

It's happened. Omarosa Manigault has arrived on the scene of Celebrity Big Brother, and the other celebrities were shocked.

The show premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 7 with a two-hour live eviction show on Thursday, Feb. 8.

Fans at home were also not fans of the Apprentice alum.

When television and radio personality Ross Mathews realized that he was going to be living with Omarosa he revealed, "When people asked me who you don't want to see in the house, my answer was Omarosa".

"Not quite sure how [rooming with Omarosa is] gonna go, bit I'm so excited to be here", Elizabeth said. "I'm probably going to be the oldest one in house", he joked. Then there's Broadway star, Tony Award winning actress/singer Marissa Jaret Winokur from Hairspray.

She succeeded. Within minutes of stepping inside, Omarosa dialed up the charm and hobnobbed with her fellow houseguests, making her first order of business to "recruit some ladies" for an alliance and take down male competitors. But even as Elizabeth won, she learned a game twist could quickly overturn her victory.

James Maslow clings at the chance of becoming top dog in the first HOH competition. One by one, celebrities dropped from their rigs as they were spun around, and doused in paint and smoke - eventually coming down to Big Time Rush singer James Maslow and Elizabeth, who emerged victorious.

With female competitors on her side (for now), who might Omarosa clash with in episodes to come?

"'Big Brother' has been dominating pop culture throughout its 19 seasons, and it is exciting to grow the franchise with the first-ever celebrity edition in the USA", executive producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan said in a statement.
