Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the entire Halifax region as a low-pressure system makes its way across the province Sunday and into Monday.

Environment Canada says freezing rain is expected beginning Sunday morning and ending Sunday afternoon.

Snow is expected stop overnight, followed by more snow possible on Sunday.

The agency warns that driving conditions could be hazardous and the weather conditions could contribute to transportation delays.
