Marvel's Black Panther is now in theaters.

The movie was directed by Ryan Coogler, a young black man from Oakland who graduated from Sacramento State University.

The reason for the lack of Bucky throughout Black Panther makes a lot of sense given what Coogler has said, especially when you have as many notable supporting characters as Black Panther does.

Like in Black Panther, if the Black gay community has any issue with the so-called "lack of representation" of our community -we're capable of saying so. "We always grow up and we are portrayed as the villain and I think that movie made us look so attractive, so smart and so intelligent, and I think that's why so many people were excited for its release".

The Wauconda/Wakanda connection doesn't seem to be a big issue for Wauconda, but Black Panther's historic run might highlight it even more. The stars casting of the movie are Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis in the lead roles. If you wanna get more specific, 218 days from Black Panther's opening day is September 22, 2018.

So far what I have experienced with the movie and in the media, some people are posting some angry things in the media about Black Panther. It teaches us about our African American culture and descent.

From start to finish, the movie strives to represent Africa as the culturally rich place it is, adopting its history, folklore, showcasing not only its raw minerals but other attributes and heroic elements in a way that's both empowering and entertaining. I saw the female soldiers who protected the kingdom and how the king was surrounded by strong women, and it reminded me of how strong black women have been and will always continue to be.

While Homola knew about Black Panther, she wasn't very familiar with what happened in the film or the rallying cry said by Dora Milaje general Okoye in the movie, "Wakanda forever", which one person said on the phone when he contacted the office.

Ryan Coogler is still riding the emotional high of co-writing and directing the record-breaking blockbuster hit, Black Panther and he's looking forward to the future with his wife, Zinzi Evans.
