Tiger Woods announces that he will play in two more tournaments

The former world No. 1, who has played three official events since returning this year after spinal fusion surgery last April, said on Twitter on Friday that he will be at next week's Valspar Championship followed by the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

However as Woods has not qualified for this current week's WGC - Mexico Championship or the March 15th WGC - Dell Technology Match-Play Championship in Austin, Texas it has limited where he can play hence entering the Valspar.

Today is the last chance for players to commit to the Valspar Championship, which begins on Thursday at the Innisbrook Spa and Resort in Palm Harbor.

This will be the first time Woods, working his way back after a fourth back surgery, has played in the PGA Tour's annual stop in Pinellas County, though he played at Innisbrook when the course hosted the JCPenney Classic, a mixed-team event, in the 1990s.

"I've been away from tournament golf for so long that I'm starting to feel the rounds", Woods said Sunday following the Honda. For the sake of comparison, in his last two truly healthy years (2012-13) Woods also played five tournaments prior to the Masters.

Israeli police question Netanyahu in corruption case
Netanyahu is suspected of acting to benefit internet giant Bezeq, also owned by Elovitch, for favorable coverage on the news site. Netanyahu has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and dismissed the accusations as a witch-hunt orchestrated by a hostile media.

"I would say I'm cautiously optimistic", West said.

"I missed the golf ball in the correct spots and I had control of my ball".

"I need to keep playing tournament golf, but I need to keep building on it", he added. "I told you guys at Torrey, try and get everything situated for April and I feel like I'm right on track for that". He ranked first in the field when it came to proximity to the hole.

The 14-time major champion remained in contention through the majority of the tournament with the type of steady play that has eluded him for several years. He already had been set to play the Arnold Palmer Invitational leading to the Masters.
