Nintendo Switch Not Getting New Hardware Version This Year

The reset has affected players worldwide and suggests that the Switch was only programmed to keep track of playtime for one year.

A lot of users have taken this opportunity to express their distaste for the Switch's current playtime counter entirely, noting that Nintendo should make a new version similar to that of the 3DS' Activity Log, since it shows the exact amount of hours and minutes for every single game and software that's been played.
