The move comes after three major deals Friday.

The Cleveland Browns have agreed to trade Danny Shelton to the New England Patriots for a third round pick in 2019.

In recent days, the Cleveland Browns have significantly changed their roster, and the New England Patriots were one of the teams to trade with them.

While the Pittsburgh Steelers no longer have to worry about facing Shelton twice in 2018 as a member of the Browns, they'll still likely face him once during the regular season as the Patriots will play Pittsburgh during the regular season once again.

Shelton, a top D-linemen while at the University of Washington, was the 12th overall pick of the 2015 draft by the Browns.

The Shelton deal continues an active 24 hours for the Browns. The Browns also pulled off a trade with the Packers that sent DeShone Kizer to Green Bay and added a potential starting cornerback for Cleveland. According to ESPN, his "skill-set should fit well" in the Patriots' young, run-focused hybrid defense. Shelton was a former first-round pick of the Browns and is coming off a strong season on a bad Browns team.

Shelton, 24, is scheduled to earn a base salary of $2.03 million in 2018.

Shelton will fill in nicely for the Patriots on early downs, as he should be a good replacement for Alan Branch. Wilson said Mathieu would be a flawless fit in New England, as he is also capable of playing cornerback and inside linebacker in sub-packages.

He's a massive, space-eating defensive tackle who will provide bulk on the interior alongside Malcom Brown (320 pounds), Lawrence Guy (300 pounds), Vincent Valentine (320 pounds), and Adam Butler (300 pounds).
