Packers trade CB Randall to Browns

For years they were colleagues under both Ron Wolf and Ted Thompson. Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting the Browns have also worked out a trade with Green Bay for Packers starting cornerback Damarious Randall.

Enter the Green Bay Packers who recently made just one of those moves.

In 39 games, Randall recorded 124 tackles with 10 interceptions and two touchdowns. He responded by becomming a much more active cover the rest of the season. Morgan Burnett is also expected to walk in free agency.

And the Seattle Seahawks cut ties with star cornerback Richard Sherman, who became one of the NFL's premier cornerbacks during his seven seasons with the team. He appears to be their answer at the quarterback position for years to come. The Browns get Randall and a fifth-round pick for quarterback DeShone Kizer and a fourth-round pick. The Packers are getting a young backup quarterback to sit behind Aaron Rodgers, and one that should be an upgrade over Brett Hundley. Former first-rounders Justin Harrell (2007) and Derek Sherrod (2011), despite playing in fewer games than Randall due to injuries, were on the Packers roster in their fourth seasons before being released.

His final numbers for 2018: 192 completions in 316 attempts (60.5%). He also carried the ball 36 times for 270 yards and two scores.

Guardiola fined £20000 for wearing yellow ribbon
They also have a chance to become the first team to break the 100-points barrier in the history of the English top flight. Their visit to relegation-threated Stoke on Monday, though, has left Guardiola looking at the calendar warily.

The Packers were shut out twice - by the Baltimore Ravens and the Vikings - and Hundley failed to throw a single touchdown pass at Lambeau Field.

Why did the Browns trade Kizer?

Kizer averaged 13.2 FanDuel points in 15 games last season, with 2,894 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions, in addition to 419 rushing yards, 5 rushing scores, and 6 lost fumbles. His passer rating was 53.6.

The Browns took the Packers to overtime in their meeting, and Kizer's potential winning touchdown throw was foiled when linebacker Clay Matthews hit his arm as he was about to throw. Hundley was ill-prepared for the rigors of the National Football League regular season despite three years of development.

Just onne player leaving and another arriving opens up an bad lot of questions on both sides of the ball as the 2018 off-season is about to kick into high gear.
