Expected to be released, will Seahawks pursue Ndamukong Suh?

THE NFL COULD soon have another big name taking part in free agency, as the Miami Dolphins are expected to release defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

The Dolphins are moving on from Suh and Timmons as they continue their attempt at a culture change - a plan that already led to the trades of wide receiver Jarvis Landry last week and running back Jay Ajayi in October. At around 5:00 a.m.in Seattle, Suh said that he was excited for the day and to "stay tuned" that "exciting things would be going on". He inked a massive six-year deal worth $114,375,000 with the Dolphins before the 2015 National Football League season.

The Dolphins rumors have swirled around if the Miami Dolphins will release DT Ndamukong Suh.

Six months later, the Dolphins made the inevitable official, cutting the veteran linebacker whose short time with Miami will be remembered only for his freakish behavior. If the Dolphins make him a post-June 1 cut, they will clear $17 million in cap space.

Suh's release is anticipated unless he agrees to a significant contract restructuring, which is unlikely.

Suh's contract calls for a cap number of $26.1 million for 2018 and he has a $8.5 million bonus due next week.

Timmons' release leaves $7.25 million in dead money on the team's salary cap. But Suh has just 15.5 sacks in three years with the Dolphins, never eclipsing six.

Mayowa spent the 2017-18 campaign with the Dallas Cowboys, finishing with 21 total tackles and one sack across 14 regular-season games.

"I expect Suh's next deal to be in the 6-7 million dollar world".

Suh should have plenty of interest on the open market, especially because it won't take a QB-esque contract to bring aboard the enigmatic interior disruptor who's still unblockable when he wants to be.
