Microsoft to hold media event to make a major announcement on June 18

Microsoft has sent e-mail invitations to reporters about a mysterious announcement in Los Angeles on June 18. Microsoft isn't even sending venue details until Monday morning, the day of the event.
The invite from Microsoft's Waggener Edstrom PR agency reads:
"You are invited to an exclusive Microsoft media event in Los Angeles, California on Monday, June 18th. Doors open at 3:30 PM."
ZDNet's Mary Jo-Foley guesses that this could be the Xbox Music unveiling, which would replace Zune. All Things D are reporting that event will focus on tablets. We haven't got the slightest to be honest. What do you guys think it's about?
